Firewire- fingers crossed

Firewire:mark II

Yet another go at editing videos, it’s gone on too long this has.
I’m adding a replacement firewire card, assuming the current one is faulty. The card is said ( by device manager) to be working without any problems, no confliics or anything but as soon as I attempt a capture using any of several progs, it freezes the program. If it’s successful, I will post later, if not, I will be blandly optimistic and make no mention.

BTW a DC3 flew over today. It said "dugga-dugga-dugga-dugga-dugga-dugga-" as it went.

Though it came out last year, watched the DVD today. It always amazes us when an american film company can shoot irony. It has all the characterisitics of an independan film, as such it’s full of charm and acute observation. I bet some people will hate this one, but not me. There are many delightful moments as well as likable but awkward characters.
Go see.

More painting, got three pictures very nearly finished, but really wanted to start another. Need a new support for the next one. The last two aren’t quite as successful as I hoped. The other just needs some careful thought before finishing it off. I have to be 100% clear before making the next steps- it’s at that critical phase.
