Cleats.
11°C, light cloud. Brisk southerly & dry
Used a chunk of the morning to service the cross bike. It has internally routed cables and those bits need care. The worst thing to do is lose the cable end inside the frame. I didn’t do that. My troubles were from a cable sheath end-stop stuck in the frame. That took ages to get out.
Anyway, I got out on the racelite and rode until I got tired: 45 miles.
Rest day.
March is doing march things. Cold mornings & mild afternoons. This is the better time for new resolutions.
New season’s Resolution:
- Cold showers,
- Wake & 5 mins slow breathing,
- rehydrate before anything.
- Go for a walk before breakfast,
- Breakfast with more protein.
Passed 1,015 miles
7°C, light & dry. Cold W onshore breeze.
I got my target. I wanted.1,000 miles ridden by equinox. Today I passed 15 miles over with two weeks to go..
March is low because.were currently only one week in. Equinox.is.the 3rd week.
Spring II.
12°C, still & no wind. 0 cloud.
Sunny and still: ride the fixie. The Paddy Wagon is running well though the original.rims are worn out. I just got a quote for rebuilding them with new rims – £40 per wheel. I’ll do that after I fit the summer wheels.
Spring, 1st march.
12°C, brisk SW, dry & cloudy with bits of sun.
I took more food than usual & rode to Dalton & behind. I fitted a conventional Speedo yesterday & fixed a puncture.
